No one is perfect and everyone has flaws, and i'm sure your thinking you heard this all before, But really believe it the next time you feel you've done something wrong, or just feeling down about yourself.
You need to believe in yourself and know that you are good enough for whatever it is your trying to achieve!
Heres some guidelines on how to achieve confidence for those of you whom may need help in knowing how great you really are.
- Recognize your insecurities. find out why it is you feel ashamed of yourself,it could range from any sort of thing such as a skin problem, or maybe just a person whom may try to belittle you, whatever it is put a name to it. in order to overcome an issue you must first address it!
- Talk it over with a loved on or a trusted friend. hearing the issue come out of your mouth will really change things around for you. it will wear the problem down. You need to learn to accept yourself, and your past as they are, without necessarily thinking of them as "bad". and the person whom your telling might have really wonderful advice on how to best overcome it.
- Be Positive! even though you may not be in a good mood, exert positivity as much as you possibly can! when someone is positive it makes them more likable and approachable. Most importantly Avoid self-pity, or the pity and sympathy of others. Never allow others to make you feel inferior--they can only do so if you let them.
- Accept Compliments. when someone tells you something nice its because they truly mean it, so next time someone tells you "You look so pretty today!" don't react by saying "yeah right" or "Definitely Not!" Accept it and appreciate it and respond with something positive!
- Try New Activities. Take up a new Dance class or maybe even Karate! or maybe just get a gym membership work on improving something that may bother you, just do something that will ultimately make you feel better about yourself and the way you see yourself. Even get a new Hair cut or maybe a new hair color change is always good,(with good intentions that is!)
Everyone is different and Everyone is Beautiful.
